4. Google User Data: Use, Retention, and Deletion

This section provides additional detail about how we handle information obtained from Google APIs (“Google User Data”).

a. How We Use Google User Data

We use Google User Data only to provide the features you choose to use in ReadyQ, including:

  • Signing you in with your Google account and associating your ReadyQ account with your email address
  • Displaying your upcoming meetings inside the Service
  • Generating AI-based meeting preparation notes, talking points, in-meeting prompts, and post-meeting summaries and follow-up items

We do not use your Google Calendar content for advertising or for building profiles for ad targeting.

b. Retention of Google User Data

We retain Google User Data only for as long as is reasonably necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes:

  • Basic profile information (name, email address, profile picture) is stored for the lifetime of your ReadyQ account so that you can sign in and manage your account.
  • Calendar event data and related AI outputs (such as notes, prompts, and summaries) are retained for as long as your ReadyQ account remains active, unless you delete specific items or your account, or unless a shorter or longer retention period is required by law.
  • We may retain limited technical logs (such as timestamps and error logs, but not the full content of your events) for a reasonable period for security, debugging, and audit purposes.

When Google User Data is no longer needed, we will delete it or irreversibly anonymize it.

c. Deletion and User Control

You can control and revoke our access to your Google account at any time:

  • You may revoke ReadyQ’s access to your Google account through your Google Account settings under “Security” → “Third-party access”.
  • You may request deletion of your ReadyQ account and associated stored Google User Data at any time by contacting us at pilot@readyq.ai or using any in-app account deletion feature (if available).

Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will delete or irreversibly anonymize the Google User Data associated with your account within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days), except where we are required by law to retain certain information. Some information may remain in encrypted backups for a limited time before it is overwritten in the ordinary course of business.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the security of your personal information and Google User Data and to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include technical, administrative, and physical safeguards such as encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and secure development practices.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
